Sintered hot isostatic pressing (HIP) is a sintering process used to reduce the porosity and increase the density of ceramic materials.
It is a method of thermal consolidation of cemented carbide in which heat and pressure are applied simultaneously to fully consolidate the cemented carbide during sintering.
